Victim Services of Temiskaming & District is a non-profit, community based program that provides immediate crisis assistance through specially trained staff and community volunteers who are on-call to area police and emergency services, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Services:
-24/7 assistance when requested by police or emergency services.
-Needs assessment
-Practical assistance
-Referrals to relevant community and government support services.
-Support to assess eligibility and apply to the Victim Quick Response Program+ (VQRP+)
-Safety Planning
-Provision of Information
-Enhanced Support
-Community Support Sessions; and
-Client Follow-up
