Ontario Works Program

May be able to offer financial support to help cover costs of food, shelter and clothing while supplying health benefits for clients and their families. Also provides assistance in finding employment, which may include access to education, job counselling and job training. Can access emergency funding for transportation to get to a shelter if patient does not have an ODSP worker.

How to  Apply:

Applications go through DTSSAB. You can start your application by calling a local office or using the online application. To complete your application, you have to meet with an Ontario Works worker.
