The Salvation Army runs a six bed men's transitional house called Hope Haven - A Way Forward. primarily serving the District of Timiskaming.
Hope Haven exists as a program to help those suffering from homelessness by giving them a safe, clean environment that also includes access to two case workers, as well as the support of the local Salvation Army Ministry and our local Social Assistance Administration Board. While at Hope Haven, residents have the opportunity to physically and mentally stabilize, access multiple different community supports, while also gathering insight for the next step in their journey - A Way Forward.
