Application Process: Please contact the Children's Services Case Aide to start the screening process (new client), or make an appointment (existing client).

Once screening is complete, the Case Aide will provide a list of information the client will need to provide to the Child Care Eligibility Worker to proceed with the application. Both new and existing clients are reminded that when attending their interview with the Child Care Eligibility Worker, they need to bring the necessary documentation to establish eligibility.

Documentation can include:

• Verification of income using the federal government Notice of Assessment or Canada Child Tax Benefit for the most recent tax year;
• Verification of employment (2 current pay stubs) or education;
• All other relevant information as requested by the Child Care Eligibility Worker.

The application for Child Care Fee Subsidy will consist of an interview with the parent(s) and completion of the following:

• an Income Test
• a Parental Agreement and
• a Release of Information Consent
